Description: I worked as a Math tutor for GCU’s ACE Tutoring department and served as the Math team captain - training new hires and providing support and resources for the rest of the team. I primarily taught Algebra, Calculus, Statistics, and Linear Algebra. I worked with over 500 students in appointments lasting an hour on average. I consistently received positive feedback from the students I supported.

Sound Energy Systems Field Technician - May 2022 - Aug 2022

Description: My job was to set up and test Honeywell HVAC control systems for large schools. This included analyzing plans and schematics, modifying and loading controller programs, confirming system functionality and cross-system communication, addressing and documenting errors, testing and resolving wiring problems, and coordinating task completion with coworkers and project managers. I received excellent reports from everyone I worked with and was asked to train a new hire after a month of employment. I worked with small teams and independently on different project sites.

Description: Loaded and transported pallets with misc. bulk food products. Worked several 16+ hour shifts and 60+ hour weeks. High stress environment, operating heavy equipment, constant progress tracking. I earned the trust of my floor manager and was frequently called out to help other departments that were falling behind.

Construction and Landscaping: 2016 - 2020

Description: I worked for a residential construction crew and did private projects for friends and relatives. I operated excavators, tractors, bulldozers, and a wide array of power tools. I designed and constructed a 10'x12' wood-frame shed from scratch, built several rock features, cleared and flattened forested land, and did various decorative projects.
